So what happens if you get married in your home country and a load of your friends and work colleagues that live here in the UK want to celebrate… well have another wedding party! It’s really that simple, who needs an excuse for a party?!
Yu and Yao are two very successful people living here in the UK, one managing an R+D company in London and the other on a research fellowship here in Birmingham (yes they commute a lot, I’d say that travel comes natural!) and they recently celebrated their marriage in China and England, which is where I step into the story!
The wedding celebration took place at The Moat House at Acton Trussell where the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food spot on… also the weather held out well and the small party of friends and work colleagues was just ideal, a really fun bunch to spend time with 🙂
It was really cool meeting them before the big day and it’s going to be even cooler seeing their faces when they check out the previews! If only they’d found me before the wedding in China.. how awesome would that have been?!
Here are a few of my favourites from the day:
The Moat House at Acton Trussell is a stunning wedding reception loation. My sister got married there last year, was beautiful, truly a wonderful weekend.
I got to admire your style. Great use of available light, brings up the ambience of the event. I love the backlight on your subjects. Nicely done. Congratulations!
