Here are few photographs from a talent show last Saturday at Rubery Social Club in Birmingham.
Gig photography can be a challenge out in the field, usually you can’t use flash so you rely on fast lenses and hi iso. A lot of big gigs will have great lighting making it a bit easier. Usually only a photographer will notice the subtle differences though… And it makes it extra challenging and fun when the lighting isn’t quite ideal! The hi iso abilities of the newer digital slr’s can really help and did help me… but who wants to upgrade my two nikon bodies?
